One of my all-time favorite songs is Sir Elton John’s classic “Your Song.” It has been a staple on Reality TV shows for years. However, no one has been able to match Heather Headley’s tour-de-force cover of Elton’s tune. As for Maneepat Molloy, she was the first artist tonight to give me the chills! I am so thrilled that Maneepat Molloy was saved by the West Coast! She has a powerhouse voice and picked an incredible song: Sia’s “Chandelier”! Her vocals gave me chills and she effortless hit the correct high notes. If a girl goes into next week’s finale, I hope it is Maneepat! Maneepat Molloy bests Shameia Crawford and April Lockhart to receive the week's single "West Coast Save" on "Rising Star."
Last week, Dana Williams survived a “Rising Star” elimination by receiving her second West Coast Save.
The same luck would not extend to Shameia Crawford, who proved unable to earn a second reprieve from those watching the tape-delayed broadcast.
She, along with fellow contestant April Lockhart, departs ABC’s music competition.

The network has picked up 10 episodes of the Keshet format set for summer 2014.
The network announced Monday that has picked up 10 episodes of the singing competition and set the series for summer 2014.
Rising Star hails from Keshet DCP, the joint venture between Keshet Media Group's international arm and DCM Media, the parent of Dick Clark Productions.
The series -- which has already sold to territories including France, Germany, Italy and Russia -- landed at the network in a competitive situation.

ABC’s new singing competition has lined up a high-powered host and panel of experts.
Rising Star has signed singer-songwriter Josh Groban as host of the summer series. In addition, pop sensation Kesha and hip-hop artist and actor Ludacris have come on board as experts, along with country star Brad Paisley, who was previously reported as likely joining the series.

ABC's singing show with Josh Groban, Ludacris, Kesha and Brad Paisley was sprinkled with musical highs, commandeered consoles and a surprise tryout.
ABC is back in the singing-show space with Rising Star, in which viewers vote for contestants in real time via a smartphone/tablet app. If 70 percent of participating voters support a singer, that singer advances to the next round. Experts Ludacris, Kesha and Brad Paisley each have votes that count for seven percent.

A YouTube video her singing which her dad posted when she was young got 3 million hits!
She won Thailand’s Got Talent in 2011.
She’s so pretty!
Kesha and Brad Paisley voted yes. Ludacris voted no. OMG! This was close! I voted yes.
She got 73% of the vote. She moves on to the next round.
Her sister was crying. This show is amazing!!!
